Seeking new Registered Skeet Shoot Director
Dear Registered Skeet Shooters,
Our current Registered Skeet Shoot Director, Jeff Bond, is planning to move out of the area and will retire from his current position supporting the club at the end of this year. Jeff has done an outstanding job in supporting registered skeet shoots at the club and we have all benefited from his leadership.
In order to continue hosting these events we now need some volunteers to step forward. We understand how daunting it may seem to fill Jeff’s shoes, and believe that it would be best if we had 2 or 3 club members serve jointly as a leadership team to lessen the burden of organizing the events. We would also like to have a list of volunteers who will take on activities such as helping to run the registration desk (in shifts), send out the flyers, enter scores into the computer, assure that the houses get reloaded, run the options events, manage the shootoffs, etc. The club’s registered trap shoots are run this way and it works very well. If properly organized, the workload for the leadership team should actually be quite small.
If you are a registered skeet shooter, please me at [email protected] and let us know what you can do to help. All of our club events are led and staffed by volunteers and we need new folks to step up so that we can continue to host registered skeet events.
