Norman J. Sieger Devil’s Brigade Match Memorial Championship

For the Norman J. Sieger Devil’s Brigade Match Memorial Championship (Sat., 3/16), we will use the CMP 1400 course of fire.  The CMP 1400 features 40-shot matches (P100 course of fire) followed by a 30-shot EIC for both 22 Rimfire and Service Pistol (140-shot total).  The CMP 1400 will be followed by a Service Revolver EIC.  That is equivaled to firing an 1800 overall with three EICs included.  Per the CMP pistol rules for 22 Rimfire, Service Pistol and Service Revolver, this event will feature metallic sights only.  We are also collaborating with the Montana Military Museum and the First Special Service Force Association on providing some Devil’s Brigade themed awards for this match.  This match may be expanded from a single morning relay to having a second afternoon relay if there is sufficient demand.

Virginia State CMP Match Pistol 2700

Our match program also features two relays (one each day) for the Virginia State Precision Pistol 2700 Championship to be held on the weekend of June 29-30, 2024.  Our state championship (with EICs) will be the last opportunity to compete in a 2700 before the July Ohio matches at Cardinal and Canton-Mickinley and the CMP and NRA National Championships in Camp Perry and Camp Atterbury.

Walter Walsh Service Pistol Championship

The Walter Walsh Service Pistol Championship weekend includes a regular CMP Match Pistol 2700 on Saturday (10/5) with EIC matches along with the Walter Walsh Service Pistol Championship on Sunday (10/6)with EIC matches.  Competiors may participate on either day (Saturday or Sunday), or both days (Saturday AND Sunday).  EIC results from both days will be combined with the potential for greater opportunity for leg points to be awarded.  Competitors participating in matches both days will fire the Service Pistol EIC as part of the Walter Walsh Service Pistol Championship and may only fire one of each type of EIC match over the weekend.  The Walsh Service Pistol Championship uses the CMP Service Pistol 1000 course of fire that features a 40-shot Service Pistol match followed by a 30-Shot Service Pistol EIC and an additional 30-shot Service Pistol national match (100-shot total).

For the Walter Walsh Service Pistol 1000 Championship, we also have the option to expand from a single morning relay to having a second afternoon relay if there is sufficient demand.
