My apologies for the lateness of this bulletin as well as the chart. My wife and working on our house to move and things just get pushed back, then suddenly a week has gone by and its time for the next match. So here we are.

This match was on July 4th. We decided to shoot it, even with a few people because, after all, it Was Independence Day after all, and we had the devices to make noises as well, so, why not? Winner of the silhouette rifle match was standard and hunting rifle combined and Roger Estes won it.

Winner of the AR portion of the match was Tyler Camp, shooting his Steyr AUG. We had a new shooter, Lulu Fricks, who did well, shooting her Dad’s AR at 200 yards and hit some animals. In the AR, our veteran shooters kind of melted away while Tyler was on it!

Our next match is this coming Sunday, July 11, and it is a smallbore match. Our next high power silhouette match will be Sunday, August 1st.

The August high power match may be during the Rifle Silhouette National Championships held at Ridgway, Pennsylvania. If so, we may lose some shooters who are attending there. However, we will continue to hold our regular match.

Just so you know, this day is also the same day as the Muzzleloading Olympics which is held on both the 1st & 2nd of August at the club skeet & trap ranges.
