Action Pistol Clinic August 9, 2020

, ,

This announcement is for the August Action Pistol Clinic at Fairfax Rod and Gun!

With the goals of safely learning while having fun, participants will receive instruction, see demonstrations, perform drills, get individual feedback and be shown ways to continue practicing on and off the range. The August clinic will focus on more advanced drills based on student feedback and interests.

This training will take place entirely on the range and address:

  • Fundamentals of shooting
  • Drawing
  • Reloading
  • Accurate shooting at speed

Participants need to understand the Four Rules of Gun Safety.

This clinic will only be open to shooters who attended a previous clinic of mine.

For this clinic you will need:

  • Eye and Ear Protection (I recommend electronic ear protection if you have difficulty hearing)
  • A pistol with at least three magazines
  • A holster on the strongside of your body and a belt to hold it
  • Two magazine pouches on the support side
  • 300 rounds of ammunition
(I am happy to discuss any equipment requirements and make recommendations if needed.)

The clinic will be held on Sunday, August 9th. Check-in is at 8:00am on the Porasky Range and class will conclude no later than 3pm. Cost is $60 and covers Club fees and targets.

This class is open to Club members and their guests. Space is limited so you must register and be confirmed to attend.

Register using the form below. You will receive an email once your slot is confirmed. If you do not, please contact me no later than August 1st.

Please contact Adam Metcalf at [email protected] or 703-772-5814 for more information.

See you on the range!
