April 2021 2G-ACM Match Report

On Sunday, April 11th, 2021, we held the first of our regular season 2-Gun Action Challenge matches. We had 36 shooters in attendance; 37% were Club members. We ran the match as four squads – two AM and two PM squads. The weather could not have been more cooperative – the rain stopped just as we were starting to set up the match! Of course that meant a lot of mud, but our competitors didn’t seem to mind.
As we continue to run these matches, we acquire new targets to challenge our competitors. We had some difficulties with our latest set of gong targets that slowed us down a bit, but did not effect the overall timing of the event.

Our next match is scheduled for May 23rd. That is later in the month than we would normally run a match, but we’re not going to ask folks to shoot on Mother’s Day.
