What you need:

Reliable pistol – any format and sight configuration (irons or optics), full size competition/duty pistol recommended for best performance

Four magazines, minimum

Exposed/Duty holster rig capable of carrying the above pistol and at least 2 spare magazines. Safariland RDS, 6354DO, or Kydex open top belt holster recommended. No SERPA or soft nylon/leather holsters. 

Minimum 700 rounds of ammunition

Hearing and eye protection

Brimmed ball cap
